Lol, it's not finished yet. I've been writing the novel on and off again for the last few years. My biggest trouble is that I have a bad habit of writing scenes out of order.

It basically focuses on five kids growing up in England (Mel, Adge, Geoff, Alan, and Gael) and how they cope with prejudice and such. Gael is murdered in a hate crime and the rest of them have to cope with that and come to terms with death, etc.

It's extremely depressing in places, but has a lot of happy bits too.

Ah, I'm bad at doing them out of order, too. So I know how it feels.

Yeah, Gael's death seems quite depressing. I opened up that pic and my mouth literally fell some. After seeing him so cutely in the comics and all, I was like, "WHAT?!" Then, the icing on the cake: I read that you had written him just to kill him. I was a wee bit depressed. :tears:

Know, if it's not done, and I already how this must emotion about/for it, I must say that you are a great artist/writer! Kudos for being able to get that emotion from someone. :clap:

Oh, God, honestly... um, about the last twenty chapters of the first book are technically written but need to be redone. There are a few large chunks that are done, but a lot still needs to be written. There would be two books, but I really need to buckle down and concentrate at finishing the first one instead of jumping around.
